Barcelona
Sorry, its been a while since my last entry but this one will be a good one i promise. Last weekend I went to Barcelona. We went to many of the tourist spots like the Sagrada Familia and many other buildings designed by Antoni Gaudi. Barcelona is by far the best city I have been to in Spain and I am not sure if I will find a better one. It is a huge city, but it did not have the hustle and bustle of a city that big. It was very laid back. I have to go to class, so check out the pictures at this link and let me know what you think. Monastario Esocrial
Last weekend i went to a monastary about 40 min. outside of madrid. It is where all of the kings and queens of spain are buried, it is a huge place and it was very interesting. I created a new photo album with picutes in it from there you can click this link to get there. Escorial

My weekend around toledo
I went on an awesome hike on Saturday around Toledo and i took a lot of pictures. They are in a new photo album:

I got a chance to see toledo from a very different perspective and it was unbelievable. i hope that everyone enjoys the pictures. Mom, when i talked to you i was sittin on a rock with about a 100 ft drop below me. It was pretty cool, i pointed it out in one of the pictures.

Hi everyone, sorry i haven't made an entry in a while but i have been sick for about a week and i haven't gone out and done a whole lot. This last weekend was Carnival here in Toledo it is basically a celebration before the start of Lent in Spain. I put up some pictures from Saturday during the parade. Also here is a picture that i took while i was walking around, you can really see the topography of where i am living right now. This picture is taken in the western part of the city and i was facing out Northwest across the river into a valley.

I am here
I am finally here in Toledo. The dorm that i am staying in is a lot bigger than i thought it would be. I am not sure yet how to put pictures in that i have taken, but i will try to figure it out when i get more time.
